She has been a nurse for 23 years and cared for patients in many settings (Med-Surg, Outpatient Dialysis, Same Day Surgery, PACU, post-partum, and pre-operative testing). She is passionate about preventative care and helping patients be key players in their health maintenance. She believes good health is rooted in discipline of the mind, body, and soul. She is a native Spanish speaker.

Bethany Collop has years of experience in the primary care setting with a background that spans Dermatology, Pediatrics, and Family Medicine. She has acquired a diverse skill set that allows her to address a wide range of health concerns. Bethany's passion lies in delivering care that goes beyond the surface – she believes in making patients feel truly seen, heard, and valued during their healthcare journey.



Bethany is an advocate for proactive health measures that can ultimately save lives. She understands that investing effort in preventive care today can pave the way for healthier and happier lives in the future. Additionally, she enjoys thinking outside of the box and taking a holistic approach.


Outside of work, Bethany understands the power of movement and is a lover of Peloton workouts, running around with her kids, hiking and the occasional yoga class. Her 2 young kiddos keep her and her husband busy and active. They love to get outdoors and explore. She also enjoys daydreaming about travelling and starting a garden, which she's determined will happen this year.

Megan Sellars is a Texas native who earned her Bachelor’s degree in Psychology from Texas State University in 2008. Upon graduating, she continued her education to earn both a Bachelor’s and Master’s in Nursing at the University of Texas at Arlington. Megan has seven years of extensive experience in emergency and critical care settings, but her desire for preventative, long-lasting compassionate relationships is what led her to pursue a career in family medicine with a specific approach of prevention and integrative care. 

 

Megan was a Division I college athlete who applies diligent work ethic to her focus. In her spare time she enjoys working out with her husband and friends, spending time with her daughter, volunteering in the community, and traveling. Cooking and loving on animals is also a favorite pastime!

COURTNEY

Courtney Paulsen, APRN, FNP-C, is a seasoned Family Nurse Practitioner with 15 years of experience, specializing in holistic healthcare at Impact Family Wellness. Born and raised in Texas, Courtney's roots in Rockdale and her current residence on a Thorndale cattle ranch reflect her deep connection to community and family. Armed with an MSN from Texas A&M University-Corpus Christi, Courtney's career spans diverse healthcare settings, including surgical and trauma intensive care, psychiatry, hospice, and medical missionary work, enhancing her ability to provide comprehensive care.


As a Board-Certified Family Nurse Practitioner and FMCSA Certified Medical Examiner, Courtney upholds the highest standards of care. Active in professional organizations like the American Academy of Nurse Practitioners and Texas Nurse Practitioners, she remains abreast of industry advancements. Outside of work, Courtney finds joy in the outdoors, fitness, and volunteerism, embodying her commitment to holistic well-being and community service.

When she is not working, she loves to travel with friends to Colorado or the beach and enjoy live music.

I turned 1 year old on March 31, 2023 and my mom, Kristin, says I’m the cutest Ewok looking mix of all the best small things: Japanese Chin, Corgi, Shih Tzu and Pomeranian. Here at the office, I keep watch over all the people and make sure everyone is happy and feels welcome.


If you see me come to greet you, I want to sit in your lap, get belly rubs and give you lots of puppy kisses. Oh, I LOVE kids, they are my size so I can stand up and reach their face to kiss them. Next time you're in the office let me show off my tricks. I can sit, shake, give high fives and ten, but don't forget to give me a yummy treat afterwards. I'm pretty quiet, but sometimes when I'm feeling mischievous, I will talk to you and let you know I want attention. If I don’t meet you at the door just stop in my mom’s office, I’m probably napping from all the excitement of meeting new people.

Unfortunately we lost our 1st "employee" in February of 2022 to nasal cancer. Rocco was incredibly loved and the best office dog ever! He will be greatly missed and forever remembered.
